Two things…. First, this seems like finding a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist. But that has never stopped them from taking massive amounts of money to throw at a dumpster fire trying to fix it anyway. There is zero chance we see the electric car displace gas powered in the near to distant future, so any major funds spent fixing guard rails are a complete waste.

Secondly, the second quote is already massively out of date and out of touch. 2023 came and went, EV sales are plummeting faster than Biden claiming up AF1s stairs.
