You make a good point. But all those options also weigh down the car. Why have heating coils you can use, and drag them around everywhere? Why have the bigger engine and have it locked down? Also, the subscription fees will go up drastically as soon as people are aclimated to this pricing model. It also devalues your trade in value when you aren't selling the options. You paid more, but you get some back when you sell. If you rented the options all that money is gone.
