Curious, why buy a filter from the dealer? Its not like they make them.
The engine air and cabin air filters seem to be similar price from the dealer as an auto parts store. I figure the least I can do is use OEM parts while the car is under warranty.
The auto parts stores around me don't seem to have anything right now. Even the bog-standard FL910-S filter for my old Focus was out of stock. However, the dealer I went to didn't have anyone to work the parts counter on Saturday, so it was closed.
I probably should just order a box of them online while I can still get them, stuff just seems to be running out.
Yeah I finally ordered the last stuff I needed for a clothesline. Figured I might need it in the future and better get the stuff now while its available. I filled up my old f150 today (dual tank) it fuckin hurt. I got all the stuff for the next full tune up on it already.
I usually keep a stock of parts, but I ran out of air filters. I feel your pain, things are getting expensive and scarce.
Even my little Focus cries a bit when I fill it up. I'm just happy it still gets 35ish to the gallon.
