You and I once lived in a world where my teenage uncle took me, a wide eyed child, outside on a crisp, clear, winter night and pointed to a tiny dot passing overhead. It was Sputnik - LOL. Whether it really was or he just tricked me, I'll never know ... but it happened. So I believe in technology.
I too believe in technology. I also believe in physics, human nature, and sound economic theories!
Also, I'm lying. You can bet your ass I'd get in a flying car. That's probably because I'm pretty stupid.
I would, too! Ya gotta die of something ... maybe, but even that may soon be in question. Too late for me though I'm afraid.
Holy fucking balls... I'd absolutely hate to have a huge lifespan. I don't want to live forever! Hell no... I'm not yet finding myself bored, but I imagine I would be eventually. Even more important, it'd be nice to get out of the way and let new ideas be tried out and let other folks have my resources.
Man, I dread living a long time. If I make it another decade, I'm pretty good with it. I've had a great life. I've done fun things. I've accomplished all my important goals. I've been everywhere I really wanted to go - except India and I plan on putting that in my schedule within the next couple of years.
And yes, this sentiment holds true even if I had an ideal body, didn't risk mental enfeeblement, or things like that. Though I do sort of worry that I'll lose my mental acuity. If that happens, it's time for this old man to go 'hunting on the ice floes' or something.
