It seems like they can easily handle the power requirements for this, but I wonder how much the power bill of their average citizen is going to go up as a result of this data center being built:

Alberta's total maximum electrical generating capacity is approximately 20 to 21 gigawatts (GW), though the province's actual operational generation and average internal load typically fluctuate between 11 and 12 gigawatts (GW) at any given moment.
