My ex-wife's grandparents lived on Vancouver Island too. It sounded like a really beautiful area but I never made it out there to see it.

The northern part was still beautiful when I left in 2012 but I have no idea now. Moved to Saskatchewan and then years later to where I am now and from what I see the only real option if you’re going to pick up and move is to go further north from wherever you are
