From a practical standpoint, it would be a lot cheaper to "assist" this women in killing herself, than to fit her house with a stairlift. The bottom line matters when you lose sight of the sanctity of human life.

One social worker said to my mother in law, who was seeking assistance for energy bills, that she could turn to prostitution if she wanted extra cash. I don't remember the exact words that were said and how it went on from there. I'll need to ask my mother in law to tell me again that story but that euthanasia story reminded me of her prostitution proposal story.
