These kind of laws just lead to the police grabbing the money of individuals, who can't get it back. Why should anyone have to prove to the government where they got their money? As long as they aren't breaking any laws, it's none of the government's business.

It always used to be up to govt to have proof that you broke the law first before arrests or confiscation.
This new law takes resources away from the accused that could be used to defend against the accusation ... effectively making defendants defenseless.
