I don't know how accurate this is, but this woman is claiming that canada is offering the physically sick, the mentally ill, children and poor people the chance to euthanise themselves in a state-funded campaign. if this is true and it wouldn't surprise me if it was (i hate to say), then this is indeed a worrying turn of events. is the canadian government just 'trying to do the right thing' but failing miserably on optics? or is it showing its true colours as a psychopathic machine hellbent on dispensing with its 'unclean' citizens?

Only if that desire is temporary. Otherwise, someone who wants to die has no reasons not to create a dangerous situation, in hopes of dying. What care or consideration would this person show to potential collateral damage, given that all of society would be responsible for their continued pain?
