For sure. Right now only a minority of truckers are off the road. There are thousands more working. If a significant percentage of them stop, the food stops. I think it's a real consideration. That might be part of why it's been so peaceful.

I think the government has already lost. It's just a question of by how much at this point. If they push things to the point where the food stops rolling, the truckers won't take the majority of the blame. The government will.

Even if they federalize trucking, they still need drivers. If they don't show up for work, trucks don't move. I think the government has no other option than to negotiate.

But if you're in Canada right now, I'd be stocking up. Like right now.
