I'd say if they voted with their principles ppc's numbers would've been way higher. Strategic voting led to liberals winning again because conservatives voted for cpc just to lower trudeau's chances of winning. If they weren't so ignorant or so hellbent on getting trudeau out of office they'd realize that cpc is just liberal lite and nothing would really improve if they won. Even though ppc is a libertarian party their platform is far more conservative relative to cpc.
