Just received this in my email:

The Canadian federal government published guidance for the federal flavour ban in their latest Canada Gazette Part I (https://gazette.gc.ca/rp-pr/p1/2021/2021-06-19/html/reg2-eng.html)

The federal government is proposing a prohibition on all flavours other than Tobacco, Mint and Menthol.

They define "flavour" as anything that has a sensory attribute in inducing youth to vape - this means that if it smells like strawberries, it's banned. If it smells like cream, it's banned. If it smells like anything other than tobacco, mint or menthol, it is prohibited for sale in all of Canada.

There is still time to act.

Calgary MP Tom Kmiec has introduced a petition - If you are Canadian, please, please sign it!

You can find the petition at https://petitions.ourcommons.ca/en/Petition/Details?Petition=e-3362

After you fill in your information, they will send you an email with a confirmation link, you MUST press it for your entry to be entered.

With no action, by February of 2022, the Canadian market will be lacking your favourite e-liquid that you rely on to stay off tobacco.

So let me guess? This is about the children. We must ban flavors from adults so kids aren't tempted to vape and kill the tobacco industry. I suppose we should start banning flavored booze too. Y'know? For the kids.

Sigh, what a fucking tyrannical government(s). All of them are corporate cocksuckers shilling for complete dominance. There is also another element of evil to this which deserves it's own thread. Nicotine just happens to bind to the ACE2 receptor, the same receptor the coof does. Smoking/vaping may ironically offer some protection but more specifically vaping because of the lack of cardiovascular and respiratory issues seen in combustible and toxic ridden cigarettes. They want to drive vapers back to smoking. Unreal.
