So next time you hear a guy introducing himself as a French Canadian take a second look.
Their accent is going to be a big giveaway, wouldn't it?
Not really, they will sound like Canadians because they live or had lived in that area.
No matter how long you stay somewhere, you don't master and lose your accent if it's a second language and you had an accent as a late teen/adult.
Or are you saying that many jews live in Quebec and speak French then go on to go live in other provinces and change their name to something French Canadian?
