All politics aside, I genuinely hope this works. Salton Sea is a VERY neat place, and a fun playground if you like desert activities. Went there many moons ago. Only thing I've ever seen that captures it's essence is the desert in GTA5

Not when the state as a whole builds soccer mom housing tracts in the middle of literal desert like Palm Springs or Temecula without thought of how to provide water to the citizens.
