Fun fact: most trains are already electric.

The problem may be the energy comes from diesel generators on board. We already know .

Fucking trains man!

In a way this is the perfect way to highlight the insanity of the electric push. most of this electricity is coming from fossil fuel power in the first place.

electric engine

towing multiple thousand tons

I mean.

Maybe the laws of physics are different in California.

Patiently waiting for the first wild fire after all this is implemented

I've witnessed many. Its not green.

I say, BAN EVERYTHING, cars, trains, electricity

no ? why not ? why is polluting to produce solar panels good and polluting to produce electricity bad ?

hey, the above is a rhetorical question

Funny how they aren't going after airplanes, which emit nearly 4 times as much as trains. https://nepis.epa.gov/Exe/ZyPDF.cgi?Dockey=P10153PC.pdf

They are making electric airplanes.

Banning the literal most efficient form of transportation, where a 2 mile long train has less contact surface area than a single car tire, with every rail car drafting behind the next. I knew CA was retarded but not THIS retarded, fucking niggers.

Right now there is No replacement for Diesel Power. Trucks, trains, planes and jets (yes jet fuel is just high grade diesel) all require it and ANYONE claiming otherwise is either a moron or a 'climate change' Criminal. Ask them what will 'charge' an electric truck or train?

[–] 1 pt

From what I have read, they can't get any of the electric trucks to tow weight. It kills the battery hella fast.

[–] 1 pt (edited )

Now they are saying that by 2036 there can be no diesel trucks either. Bear in mind that none of this is by action of the state's legislature. These edicts are passed down through 'rulemaking' by an air quality 'regulatory body' and then the EPA approves the "regulation" at the federal level. Nobody voted for this. This is definitely not the way our government is supposed to work.

This is going to get overturned surely. Interstate commerce is federal; states can't regulate it

[–] 1 pt

Sure. Keep believing that lie. California dictates to the rest of the country. I bet your car is "California Legal". The liberals/communists/globalists in DC are okay with that too.

sigh

it really is too late to save anything isn't it?

[–] 1 pt

As long as people are comfortable, there will be no meaningful change.

Idk, They be crazy.
