I know of at least 5 mexican families who's business this will directly affect. New equipment doesn't just grow on trees, and if that "fund" pays out as fast as the Covid shit has, they'll be fitting replacements from out of pocket.

Their business probably involves disturbing the peace in multiple white neighborhoods every day. I'm OK with this aspect of the law.

No they don't. They're blue collar families with good kids and grandkids. I grew up with them and know them well. I get the hate, but Mexicans aren't niggers. A lot of them just want to work and be left alone and love family and friends

Their barely a step up from niggers. They're more nice one on one, but they're dirty and loud as fuck. They have loud parties all the fucking time, they are constantly the source of noise in otherwise quiet neighborhoods. They drive around blasting their car stereos just like niggers. They litter like there's no tomorrow. The spray paint on everything, even in the fucking mountains. They are cockroaches.

...and another 700,000 people leave california by 2024... The green enviro- stalinists have killed the San Joaquin Valley, now they are gunning for small businesses.

Would be a shame if these uppity liberals had to mow their own lawns. :)

So when the wildfires break out the firefighters will be carrying batteries for their electric chain saws?

Lol.. I love the image in my head of that.

Sorry sarge, battery is charging.

California leads the way of destroying the country. What isn't illegal in California? Straws, gaming computers, small gas engines... seriously?

Being a drug addicted homeless degenerate and knowingly transmitting HIV?

Oh sorry, was that a rhetorical question?

I bought an electric battery powered weed whacker for small jobs as I rarely, but sometimes, do yard work for clients (handyman).

Each 6AH battery gave about 20 minutes of run time and the thing completely crapped out on its second job. Complete waste.

Before I sold my house I had an electric weed wacker, the plug in kind. I actually really liked it. It was more reliable and less noise. As a consumer it was great I had that choice. However that isn't going to work for landscapers or people with large properties. As you said, the battery powered ones aren't up to it.

You bought a piece of shit, then. I have an electric chainsaw, electric hedge trimmers, electric leaf blower, and electric weed whacker. All of them run long enough to do my regular yard work for a two weeks before I have to charge the battery again, and I move the battery from tool to tool. The hedge trimmer are more powerful than the corded ones it replaced.

If you get the chance, try .

One thing to keep in mind is that you have to treat lithium batteries right for them to last. Storing them fully charged will wear them out very fast. If you're not going to be using them right away, try to store them at 50% or less. Also, don't store them somewhere it gets over 90°F. Heat also destroys lithium batteries. If you have a cold basement, that would be the best place to store them.

So they're going to cut our power over political bullshit...

...and then take away our ability to buy and operate generators?

Right.

I am so out of here.

Los Angeles banned gas law. mowers years ago.

It was partly a noise issue. If each neighbor has the illegal Mexican mowing their lawn once a week then the issue is you have a lawnmower going everyday making noise.

Pelosi bought stock in the electric suppliers right before this anouncement I'm sure.

But third world countries that pallets of our money are getting shipped off to daily are hunky-dunky dumping tons of shit into the rivers and environment. Cant we just ship these california commies some flamethrowers so they hurry up and burn themselves down before spreading?

New portable gas-powered generators also must be zero-emission by 2028, which also could be delayed at the discretion of the state agency.

How do you like my battery-powered generator, bitches?
