Los Angeles City Attorney caught typhus by going to work at LA City Hall East. The city is fighting her worker's comp claim while the city's exterminators (private company) came out and told them to clean up the area outside city hall and remove the trash. Oh, one of the council members got rid of the carpet in his office in an effort to appear to be battling climate change, when it was really to prevent fleas.
Thousands of people are exposed as the city is covering it up.
