Wow, what a backhanded compliment - LOL. Stereotypes are just that, using the low end to judge all, that never works in reality.
Stereotypes are based on the middle of the bell curve, not the low end. And it works most of the time because most people in the demographic fall within the middle of the bell curve.

My parents sent me to a military school because they got annoyed with me trying to mime my degenerate fathers habits. He got grandma to flip the bill. So he got to skip out on raising me, while having strangers raise me and not having of pay for any of it.
I can’t imagine all the awesome boating and drinking he did when I was marching in lines.
