Yeah that sucks. One used to come around near the farm and slowly started bringing friends and I never gave them anything but would just sit there. Then one day I gave some leftovers to one and he ate them and left, came with a few more and I just sat there. I'm assuming it was the same one because it always would come alone and if I gave food bring friends. One day the single one came by, like usual and I gave leftovers again. It ate them, left and brought more again, so I fed them all. The next time the lone one came it left a piece of shiny string, like from a gift wrapping. I left a pile of leftovers again and it brought the group over they all ate and I didn't get any more gifts but they would come really close and look at me and attempt to talk it felt like.
Noisy little fucker. He's been perching for a few days now so I sit him by the window to watch/listen to the other birds. I'm guessing two or three more days before he's airborne. Tail feathers still aren't fully grown yet.
