Seriously. Life after a hurricane with and without a gas generator is drastically different. I’ve experienced both.

The feeling when you can plug in a window unit when the power is out for weeks is absolutely amazing. It’s the only way to get some sleep in a 95 degree house.

You know what I suspect? It has nothing to do with energy, carbon my ass and such

They are gradually removing gasoline and gas canisters from the reach of the general public... What if it was a covert weapon ban? Have you seen the devastation inflected by a couple of molotov cocktails? I mean even if you fired non-stop with an M60 for a year you couldn't inflict as much damage to a building as a molotov cocktail does in a couple of minutes, and then you have armored vehicles also... And unlike firearms there's virtually no way to trace the origin of the gasoline or the bottle it was contained in

And gas canisters well... Maybe they're doing all that because they know something we can only suspect, namely, the coming of the real SHTF
