Notice the use of the word "drinks" rather than "water".

Probably a half mile hike too

I've climbed Ben Nevis. It actually is a fairly long hike. Takes a good solid day to go up and back down (about a 4000' vertical ascent). That said the first half is a fairly easy trail (albeit long). The second half starts getting steep in parts and for the last quarter or so the trail basically gives way to shale which can be difficult (and slow) to navigate. Of course, spending 30 seconds to read the info plaque at the bottom of the trail would inform anyone of this before they started.

We climbed it in September. Started in shorts and T-shirt weather and it snowed while we were at the top. We actually read up about it first so knew this could happen and had packed coats in our backpack. And yes the top was obscured by clouds (very common) but the lower 3/4's had beautiful views the entire way. Well worth a visit if in the area.

The reviewer, if real, is just an idiot.

Sounds like a great place to take the dog.

You'd be surprised how many aren't even fat, they're just so out of shape they can't walk 5 miles.

I'm willing to bet that there's a lot of soy in their diet

Did you even stop to think about their cundishuns before you said that?

I always take thier healthy at any weight heart con dition into consideration before calling them fatfucks

They would have never attempted a hike unless it was to a Wendy's 20 yards away from the car

The weak are to be shamed and put in their place, publicly if possible.

"No wifi. 1/10"

OMG can government fix these mountains that God messed up? It's not ADA accessible. This is NOT Ok. Unacceptable.

Not sure if satire.

I've ran into people like this in the Tassie highlands, no gear, walking a long way from anywhere wondering if the next camp has a restaurant. There's literally nothing up there.

camp restaurant

Kek. Sherpas are gonna carry free range chicken and kale up there!

They should do Everest next. I heard the dance club at the peak has legal E for sale since that far above sea level everything is legal. Then they should try to do the north pole trek. If they do it in the winter they get a free tour of Santa's workshop.

The cell phone reception was really bad too, and there was no Apple store, so it died right after we started our descent.

Imagine giving a natural geological formation a bad Yelp review. LOL!

These are the same people that hike into the woods blasting rap music from a crappy single speaker boom box that fades in and out as it swings on a backpack strap past their fat rolls.

Ok, I get it, you don't know how to enjoy nature. Go enjoy non-nature elsewhere. If you need perpetual noise you are the top person to need what was here before you ruined it.

Spoiled little twats need to stay in their own fucking lanes. Just sit at a little hipster microbrewery in Mt. Douchebag and fuck off.

It's probably (hopefully) satire, but pisses me off as Ben Nevis is fucking great if you pick an appropriate day based on your ability. It's advisable to have someone who knows what they're doing with you, but it's totally accessible for a newb and really rewarding. You genuinely appreciate the beauty and only need to pack: Day's worth of food Kendal mint cake Thermos of tea Good walking shoes (and poles if you want) Have winter/cold spring clothing packed if you set off in the warm

Anyone in Northumberland, Cumbria or (of course) Scotland is crazy if they've not made the climb.
