I've used VLC for 20 years now. It is the best.
Simple player, just works. Have it on pc and mobile
I am somewhat surprised the state still pays for libraries.
Might just be me, but I haven't been able to get VLC to work reliably for years. I install it for the codecs, but will use another player, like Celluloid, cause VLC won't open shit and just crashes
I can't believe this. There has never been a pc, laptop and more recently phone that I've not had VLC on and I have never, LITERALLY, had ANY problems.
I can believe you had problems but it didn't have anything to do with VLC from their end.
Like I said, probably just me. But, it's done it in Linux Mint, MX Linux, and Manjaro. I don't even bother to fix it anymore. Just install for the codecs and install Celluloid
apparently the guy who wrote it turned down a 55 million dollar offer to buy it.
yes that is what I have learned as well.
