This shit goes back decades in the USA, it's crept in slowly, took over completely in the late 80s and early 90s (known as political correctness), and then the internet finally gave it widespread exposure.

Every day, they'd check the news to see who was being forced to apologize for what, and almost every day, some celebrity or CEO or otherwise famous person was being forced to bow down and humiliate themselves. That’s why free speech was the first. Because yes. You should be able to say anything. A free person can say anything it’s the at simple. In a culture that manifest fear over your thoughts ideas and speech isn’t a free society. It’s being driven by an agenda. The opposition to freedom is Marxist communism.
