It didn't become boring, major league baseball tried to make it into another temple of woke. People want sports to escape that shit, not have it shoved in their face.

Baseball died a long time ago, at least since asterisk-gate. Asterisks by stats mean nothing and are rarely or ever noticed as even being present and are just ignored.
They normalized and de-stigmatized usage of 'performance-enhancers' and essentially marked all previous stats and records prior to their usage as meaningless, instead of the opposite of all stats since their adoption being meaningless and not 'real' baseball.
What has been played since 2000 (or even since 1996/97 to some) is not baseball. All stats and records that were achieved prior to their adoption and being permitted were achieved in a different sport.
Who would have great interest in players who are not team players but players who only play for themselves and the numbers they can amass so they can get bigger contracts - Back in the day baseball players played for the love of the game, now they play for the love of money and their own personal stats.
Stop watching nigger ball.
Baseball is not dominated by niggers. They have other issues.
