White Soxs really spending the cash this off season.

If a pandemic develops by mid-summer, which is possible, they'll be playing to empty stadiums, with all the other big league teams. The loss of cash flow will clobber pro sports teams, unless a working vaccine is developed and disseminated quickly, which isn't likely.

I'm hopeful the warmer weather and fact that most parks are outside will mitigate the impact on baseball.

I do not see this virus scare lasting past spring.

I hope you're right. There is also the possibility of a repeat of the 1918 pandemic, which spread worldwide in six months. It all depends on how sensible people are, don't shake hands for a few months, don't pick you nose before washing your hands, etc.
