What are your thoughts on the NL adopting the Designated Hitter rule? As a fan of an AL team (Texas Rangers), I'm all for it. Having seen NL pitchers try and fail to hit, I think it's a good idea. I lived in St. Louis for a while, and saw many Cardinals games in which the pitcher cannot hit to save their lives. What are y'all's thoughts?

I'd prefer to see a return to the old era, when pitchers were noteworthy hitters also (Babe Ruth is the perfect example). If also prefer to see less emphasis on Relief pitchers and a return to pitchers going full games like Nolan Ryan. But those times are gone. With the current pussified league, you may as well allow DH for NL, since modern games have devolved to the point that players are pampered millionaires who are so specialized in their role and delicate that sneezing can cause an ACL injury
