When I was 6, my mom would give me money and tell to walk to the supermarket that was about 1/4 of mile away, and across a busy street. I'd have to carry back a gallon of milk and some delicate things like bread and make sure the milk didn't squash anything in the bag, make sure I got the correct change and get it all back to my mom.

These days most teenagers don't even know how much change they should be given IF they ever get their hands on cash, but I'm pretty sure most 14 year olds are able to be left alone.

My mother used to send me to the store to buy her cigarettes when I was maybe 10 years old. Times sure have changed.

The left: 14-year-olds can't be left alone at home.

Also the left: 14-year-olds can change their gender.

And the Jews think kids can change their gender without parents knowledge but a 14 year old can’t stay home alone. 👌🏻O/

She had to wait four years to get (((permission))))

When I was a kid, all the way through school, starting in first grade I was let off the bus and was home alone for hours before anyone came home every weekday. Now they take the kids back to school if a legal guardian isn't outside to receive them.

It infantilizes children. If you're old enough to go to school, you're old enough to let yourself in, make a snack, entertain yourself, and call a parent/relative if some freak accident occurs.

Thats allowed still where I am. There isnt an age limit, and its not a problem leaving kids alone as long as nothing bad happens to them. Its a decent approach because Ive seen kids that are more responsible at 7 than kids that are in their teens.

It really is. It helped me become less dependant on adults. I would kind of get in trouble because my parents or older siblings would come home to find I had cooked a meal on the stove top. This started probably somewhere around 6-7 years old.

All I did was get a basic understanding by watching my mom cook, then just read instructions on the food. Today you'll find 12 year olds that barely know how to use a microwave.

Yeah, if a kid is old enough to walk to school/ make themselves something to eat (and know to run next door/ down the street in an emergency) - they are old enough to be home alone.

The problem here is the taco-nigger, diversity hire, (((human resource))) "cops" wont' be made to pay or spend years in prison, as they should. The tax payer will pay.

She didnt leave the kid alone tho, the dumb fck neighbors fcked it up by not being able to stick to the arrangement, and then another neighbor whom they then called (a school conseler no less) couldn't help out either, thus ringing little piggy zog bot to help.
