smoked salmon rocks!
Think it'll fish up your smoker? Should've made a vodka sauce with it
Not really that worried about it, I've run 100s of kilos of beef and pork through my pit, 2.4 kilos of stinky fish won't do shit.
I’ve seen a lot of people worried about this but I’ve never had an issue
Not a salmon fan but job well done. I love the vodka in the brine. Looks amazing.
Not a salmon fan myself but it was on sale at Lidl and the rest of the family wanted it. Glad I did it though, it's always nice to expand your horizons!
Fish is not my thing but the family would love it.
I wish I had a dedicated smoker but ive been able to do a partial smoke in the charcoal grill. Its probably not even close to that pit but its better than nothing at all.
I used a Weber grill to smoke for years before I could spend the money on a “smoker” some of the best meat I’ve done was smoked on that Weber
If you have a space problem then you might want to get one of these setups: https://www.smokenator.com/
I had to build an extension to our outdoor kitchen just to get this thing to fit. I dug a LOT of dirt to lay the foundation. Ugh, my aching back.

My go to for salmon was a 24 hr marinate in soy sauce but I’m interested in this recipe I’m going to try it Saturday
Looks really good
