Spend that extra and get the rotisserie DLC for the best crispy skin fall apart chicken ever. I had a IR grill with two cooking surfaces and dual rotisseries when I lived in Texas, still bummed I couldn't bring that home with me. The IR panels are a bitch to clean but well worth it for grilling perfection.
I love this fucking thing, from burgers to steaks and everything in between I can not recommend one of these highly enough. It's the next best thing to my smoker.
They are amazing. When I bought mine I was thinking it was a gimmick until I cooked some ribs up on it and they were a perfect red hue with spot on char marks. Took a bite and the meat slid right off the bone Memphis style. Now I am hungry.
