Next thing you know, he'll start digging holes in the mud with a stick and not get stuck to a screen all day. The absolute mad lad. ;-)
It makes me happy knowing there are still kids who will learn the magic of digging a hole in the yard. It was the first big project I ever undertook as a kid, lol. Georgia clay is no joke when you only have kids with shovels.
As a kid, I used to cut through tall grass with a branch pretending it was a sword. I want my innocence back.
Oh man, I remember a neighborhood kid had a tree laying across a small ditch in his back yard, and we would go rummaging through the woods looking for a proper "weapon" to then sword fight while balancing atop the log. Stick swords are great but those were the worst splinters of my life. I would also appreciate having my innocence back.
