Sure, my newborn throws up on me daily, goes through far more diapers than I thought possible, makes constant little dinosaur noises, wants to eat every hour it seems, and doesn’t let me sleep. Still the best thing ever.

Life is precious. Have kids.

You're so lucky, congratulations! :) I was looking into private school costs even though I don't have kids yet just to kind of get an idea of what I'm going to do in terms of protecting them from Clown World™️ and it's like $5k/yr for a single child. Homeschooling and having a good network of parents/kids to socialize your child the right way might be the way to go if you can handle it.
