Bit-Flip is real. It happens and it is a bitch and a half. It is (almost) the entire reason for things like ECC ram used in enterprise servers.

Ok so now you have equated it to somethign I can understand. BUT ECC RAM HAS GONE UP 10X IN THE LAST.... nevermind, yeah ram prices sucks.... Lucky my 2x8gb were still cheap for a small server, the 2x16gb fuck me for ram not made and not worth more than about 25 a stick.
