That's pretty damn scary. Imagine being there in person. It's unfortunate that people died but its almost always a given if their is a airplane crash.

1943: B17 bombers made it back to England full of holes, 3 engines out and half the crew dead. 2025: Engine FALLS OFF airplane while taking off. What are your conclusions?

Well, yeah. Complexity causes problems. Still, you have a very good point. A A10 was able to RTB with one wing after it rained hell on the enemy.
