I don't see any dramatic collision, I watched the video twice. I only see that it bumped the tail of one of the jets and looks clearly stopped before reaching the wing of the other parked aircraft.
>A Boeing 737 Max clipped the wings of two other jets as it parked at the Toronto Pearson Airport.
Video of the collision shows the Air Canada jet approaching what ground crew had taken to be a parking sport in between two other planes.
1: It didn't part there, it wasn't going to park there, it was in tow. Someone was moving it there.
2: It was not approaching, it was under tow.
I used to work on the flight line. There is huge differences in how this is written and what actually happened. The media just sucks all the way around these days.
Yeah, they sure as hell love their click bait.
Though, I'm not thrilled about being on a craft that just had even a minor collision on ground (without a check up) though maybe I have been and just didn't know? I feel like that is more likely than not.
I'm sure both those planes were grounded and needed repair. The tail sway on the closest plane indicates certain damage.
