Seems like a stupid design. Be better to just have a copter wing that locks and have motors on the front or back for propulsion instead. VTOL are kind of shit anyways taking like 20 years to actually get produced. I find them pushing this design to be likely much more expensive then the way I describes before.

It seems like a gimmick pitch to me. Cute for a toy, but nothing that has serious commercial or military applications.
