‘I am really tired of hearing the “LA speed story” so I thought I would relay a mission that gives real perspective to the speed of the Blackbird.
Dude is bitch'n about hearing the LA speed story too often. Retard doesn't realize that the LA speed story is mostly well known just because it was told so well.
And, then there is this on opposite side of the spectrum ...very poorly told / written and simply not memorable.
The layman doesn't know where those air force bases are, and doesn't have a frame of reference for a 'normal' flight duration, much less this flight duration. No mention of speeds, no mention of absolute times, etc. And fuck off with the acronyms. RSO, TDY, etc, etc. WTF is that noise?
(Not yelling at you OP ... yelling at the retard who doesn't understand the basics of good story telling. That good story telling makes the story, not the actual events.)
