Exactly, every marine that hit the beach felt the same way. And I agree however, what motivated the jap soldier? Love for their family? Love for their country? Love for their emporer? No.

I posit that they fought for honor. They were attacked by 20,000 US Marines. No way were they going to give up.

Me and you agree. Fuck the japs! They never had what it takes to beat the USA, yet they fought like tigers, knowing they would lose the war but trusted their emporer. Fuck that guy!
