$21 Trillion in National debt largely due to permanent wars that future generations will have to pay back. The MIC got 3/4 of a Billion dollars just this year alone and recycles just a taste of that national treasure into campaign contributions to keep their gravy flowing. Ahh, Murica
The US spends $8.2T total, Fed+State+Local, 700B goes to military. The vast majority of the spending is on medical and social benefits.
Why do you call out the military, which is obviously large and has waste, but never call out the $1.8T medical spending? Or the $1.2T education spending? If we removed spics the costs for education and medical would drop. Removing diversity hiring and promotions would also have a savings in every corner of the government.
