They had to pay engineers to design the truck. After the design was done, you take the total amount you paid engineers and divide it over the number of vehicles sold. The more vehicles they sold, the less it would have cost per vehicle to design the things

I already had no interest in ever buying a ford. They have been garbage for decades. Why would them making an EV that I also don't want make me want to buy a ford?
