EVs are trash. As soon as it's cold or you need to be somewhere in a hurry you're fucking screwed. Not to mention every single one of them has numerous backdoors so that daddy kike gubmint can shut your car down. ICE vehicles have too many computerized bits as well but most of them aren't "always on" connected to centralized control mechanisms. Then there's battery maintenance. If your battery fails in one of these things you are looking at $20k for replacement.
