No doubts. I'm keeping my old ICE vehicles running as long as possible. 1. I don't want an EV. 2. The older my vehicle, the less the state steals from me.
it's not even the EVs themselves, it's about the top down, technological, hell scape control grid they want us under and the EVs are a major part of it.
we simply are not ready for the switch, but the argument isn't gas v. electric. it's individual autonomy vs. social credit score nanny state run by the biggest bunch of cocksucking shitbags this planet has ever known.
Even if they weren't centrally controlled they'd still be shit. They can't tow for shit and they lose massive efficiency in the cold.
I dunno about anyone else but the idea of losing battery in 0 degree weather and having to get towed to go sit at a dark gas station for an hour-plus is not the idea of convenience to me. And EVs are only useful if they're MORE convenient than combustion engines.
i totally agree. my point is that is where they want the argument focused, just on ICE v. EV and the pros and cons. It's blatantly obvious to anyone without their head way up their ass that EVs are ok for basic commuting in a city or suburban setting in relatively normal weather conditions, but outside of that they're fucking retarded.
even a simple concept like the mining for all the materials. that is done through heavy diesel powered equipment, and it if were somehow to switch to battery powered heavy equipment the results would very predictably be a fucking joke.
Haha yeah no one ever talks about the mining. I got into (small scale) gold prospecting years back and started watching those Gold Rush shows and all that, it's pretty similar to get all the bullshit needed for lithium ion batteries and all the other components. Shitlibs always talk about "oh but it's GREEN". Yeah what about the fuckin diesel trucks and mining equipment that's burning thousands of gallons of diesel a day to make one car battery, which lasts at best 10 years.
EVs are trash. As soon as it's cold or you need to be somewhere in a hurry you're fucking screwed. Not to mention every single one of them has numerous backdoors so that daddy kike gubmint can shut your car down.
ICE vehicles have too many computerized bits as well but most of them aren't "always on" connected to centralized control mechanisms.
Then there's battery maintenance. If your battery fails in one of these things you are looking at $20k for replacement.
