Planned obsolescence via the cheapest parts in the world. Why make it last longer?
Normies don't know this one little trick to keep their devices running longer.
Normies don’t know this one little trick to not die. Cooking.
Thanks for posting. Most of my shit is Zwave, but I can support zigbee. Love this style for guest lamps and slow bleeds like chargers.
Since they don’t list it as zigbee, how do I see the other zigbee devices?
Anything that connects to DIRIGERA is zigbee?
Is the TRÅDFRI gateway zigbee?
I might consider their blinds.
Most of their smart home devices are zigbee, and anything that connects to their current or last-gen hub is zigbee. It's not listed online anywhere because they want you to use their hub, I just happened to notice it one day when shopping there.
The reason they are on sale is they are going to Matter.
Ok. Thanks!! Also never thought of opening up a $7 device to fix shit. I’d buy 12 of them and throw away the ones that die.
But I’m not as good with components as you.
