It's fucking cold. Not frosty, but daytime cold. Not necessarily objectively cold (i.e. there are plenty of places that get way colder), but it's colder than normal. Yesterday was around 5C at lunch time, probably 7 or 8C today at lunch time. Normal temps for this time of year where I am would be 10-13C, so it's 5C below normal. Nothing to panic about, but if you were a povo cunt who couldn't afford to run your heater, it's not going to be comfortable.
Glad that I got my greenhouse pretty much finished not too long ago.

I chucked a couple of shovels full of my compost in there (it's generally loaded with tomatoe and pumpkin seeds of some sort), starting to get tomatoes coming up now, maybe they survive, maybe they don't. Mostly have left overs from what I had growing before I got the frame up and plastic on, so daikon radish, cabbages and wombok.
was in bunnings today to buy shit....real dirt...walked past bags of compost.....I wish they were'nt sterilised to get an unknown bounty.
