Everyone in my house just got the flu. I was the first (unvaccinated) it was awful but still the same as every influenza I’ve ever experienced. My wife scoffed and said you should have gotten the flu shot she thinks I’m a conspiracy nut. My son got it next (fully vaccinated plus flu shot) he’s never been this sick before, I sat by him and let him know he wasn’t gonna die. My wife succumbed next (she ain’t laughing now) and the flu hit her hard. I don’t think she has ever experienced the flu before. She has gotten the flu shot but not the mRNA shot. She thought she was gonna die. I did my best to reassure her that she’s not gonna die. Everyone is fine now. So, three of us, one unvaccinated, one just the flu shot, one both mRNA vaccinated and the flu shot, got sick. Nobody died.
