Well Myanmar have had several coup d'état in the last few years, the most recent one on Feb 1 two days ago. Military coup are expensive and every government needs hobbies I guess. This will never make the news, maybe 60 minutes but that's about it. The Journalist that breaks this story will get the axe shortly after like the one that broke the story about Chinese influence in the South pacific.
