Ya know, the double slit experiment shows that you're an integrated part of the universe whose thoughts LITERALLY affect matter across space and time..
But the idea of a greater consciousness than our own, (which is inherent in all higher mammals btw), seems to be too what? 'far-fetched?'
EVERYBODY lied about Jesus? One big fiction?
You don't see any universal truths in the teachings?
Bad philosophy?
Atheists are those guys who think they're smarter than everyone else.. about everything.
The best news I got for atheists is God loves you. Live a good life, and I'll see you on the other side.
The FSM loves you even more, he will let you enjoy the Beer Volcano and Stripper Factory in the afterlife if you believe him or not... because his love is truly, unconditional.
Could all those people that believe in the FSM, Muhammad, Ganesh, Zeus, Ra, the 4000 other manmade myths wrong? Oops there goes that argument...
The double slit isn't a man made myth.
The BASIS or religion, evident in every society, across every continent, shows man's inherent passion of understanding God and themselves.
You expected a fully functional perfect religion to establish itself immediately though. I can see how what you got might be disappointing.
What if I could show you people who have learned to see the other side and bring back proof? Is that convincing enough? What if I could show you how to do it yourself? When do you admit to yourself there is a greater power at work?
Christ was real. A conduit in flesh.
It is Right to worship and adore God. But its not something God needs or requires. Atheists can be lovely people. Agnostics much more so..
I would have been you were it not for my own experiences. But I got proof. Faith probably would have been insufficient for myself as well (to my own shame). I don't mind sharing the proof though.
Lemme guess, drugs converted you.
