Just because one group is being an asshole, doesn't mean the other side needs to be an asshole too. There is simply nothing gained about it, it isn't like an atheist is likely to get a Christian to stop being a Christian and vice versa. Even if you could be one of those rare atheists to pull it off, you would just take away part of their happiness and replace it with emptiness - something you should only reserve for your worst enemies.
