Thanks for the link.
This one actually bothers me

Ive observed this a few times and even stopped to photograph the anomaly of the moon. Do you have an explanation of this? Even a flat planet (or a sun and moon closer to the planet) would not explain this shadow irregularity.
Thank you for engaging in useful discussion.
No I do not have a solid opinion on this phenomenon. I have followed numerous leads, including the theory that there are other objects in the sky that we are unaware of (search theories about Rahu and Ketu), and another theory that the moonlight shows it electro-magnetic ‘charge’.. you might find that one quite thought provoking, and so here’s a condensed infographic for that...

There’s another theory that the sun is outside the dome so what we see is its refraction, but having also done a lot of scuba diving, I find that less likely. Haven’t ruled it out, but do not give much time to it. Except it did lead me to sundogs, which are also fascinating.
I do not claim to have all the answers. I am a truth seeker. I can also admit when I am wrong, but after testing and te-testing, I am sure that there is no curvature. Although I have considered the option that the actual circumference of the earth is way bigger than the accepted circumference, but I discarded this theory due to the inherent properties of water which causes it to be level when at rest. Like in a glass, bath, pool, lake and ocean.
Thank you.
Yeah nobody has been able to explain this to me. I can only imagine the answer is something about refracting light. Thanks for the leads of possible answers.
One of my favourite things is discourse that clarifies truth - it might not seem like it, but I really am more interested in WHAT is right, rather than WHO is right.
Grateful that this discourse got there :-)
