If she followed you as you pulled over with your indicator on, then that's a completely different level of crazy. High beams are a real bitch at night. At least you don't have to deal with drivers leaving them on all the time, including when stopped at stop-signs. Another thing you can try (provided there's no other innocents behind you), is turning on your rear foglight. It's not as bad, but it's still bright, and will be very annoying to the other driver who will [hopefully] get the message and turn off their high beams.
