My father just picked up a sports car that he wants to leave down in Florida and not take north for 6 months. I'd like to give him some advice about what he can do with that car other than leave it there. My thought would be to have it driven up or shipped on a transport, perhaps train travel or potentially just leaving it in Florida but in some sort of climate controlled facility. Any of you guys do this with your vehicles?

Well that's a good idea too. Also yeah he should probably ask some of his friends who shipped their cars back and forth. I'm just doing this without him actually saying anything to me. I just think that it would be a shame to leave his car South instead of enjoying it all summer.

Makes sense. If he sets things up ahead of time he can use his car right up until he ships it to Florida.

Where he is in Florida the roads are just straight and boring. Up north they're windy and fun to drive in vehicle with good handling. There's some decent enough scenery once you get out into farm country. So I think he would enjoy that. But he doesn't remember that he will, LOL. He gets kind of stuck in his Florida routine and forgets about everything which I understand. Out of sight of mind.

The roads are pretty much straight and boring all over Florida. ;-)
